Meet Dr. Danzig

Dr. Danzig is a retina specialist with extensive experience in medical and surgical treatment of all retinal conditions. After completing training at SUNY-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX he continued his career in Deerfield Beach, FL at Rand Eye Institute where he served as Director of Vitreoretinal Services and Retina Clinical Research. He founded the retina department at the institute and served as Principal Investigator in 59 clinical trials as the solo retina specialist in the practice. Dr. Danzig has presented his research at various international ophthalmology meetings and has been published extensively in numerous peer-reviewed journals. He serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science at the Charles E. Schmidt School of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Danzig completed five years serving on the ONE network, retina division for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and was recently inducted into the prestigious Retina Society, which he considers his greatest achievement of his career thus far. Dr. Danzig and his family currently reside in Fort Lauderdale where he adores his wife and three children, along with cheering on his childhood sports teams from Philadelphia. Dr. Danzig is excited to offer his expertise, experience, and exceptional personalized care to his patients, and practitioners who find their patients in need of specialized retinal care.
